Our area continues to experience cold temperatures and wind chills heading into Monday, Jan. 26. Woodland is monitoring the weather forecast, and according to the National Weather Service we are under a "Cold Weather Advisory" from midnight tonight through noon Monday. We have checked with our Operation and Facilities (O&F) Team, as well as our Transportation Team, and we are expected to resume normal operations tomorrow. School is on as scheduled.

If something changes in the forecast and the National Weather Service moves from a Cold Weather Advisory to a more severe threat level, we will revisit the decision and send any change in status after 5 a.m. by phone, email, and text. (We will ONLY send additional messaging if conditions change. School is ON unless you hear otherwise).

Current Actions:

Dr. Machak has been in communication with the other area superintendents and the Woodland Board of Education.
Woodland's O&F and Transportation Teams have confirmed that our buildings and buses are ready for normal operations.
School is on as scheduled.
