Woodland Minority Parent Advisory Committee

  • The Woodland Minority Parent Advisory Committee (MPAC) is a newly developed parent led committee. MPAC has the goal of helping minority students reach their full potential at Woodland.

The committee will meet several times a year to develop ways of supporting minority families and students at Woodland. Since this is a newly forming group we are looking for current parents willing to assist in MPAC's initial development.

If you are interested in being part of the team leading this committee please contact Linda Tanni at mpacwoodland@gmail.com or attend a meeting listed below.

MPAC will have meetings at Woodland Intermediate Library/LRC from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

  • Vision and Goal Statement

Our vision is to improve school-home connection through strong relationships between our parents, staff and community in efforts to improve student success. In addition, we aim to lessen the burden of navigating a complexed school system.

Our goal is to help bridge the achievement gap for minority students in Woodland Schools each Academic year by engaging in parent-led communication and collaboration with the district's instructional leadership team.
