Strategic Plan Community Survey
Thank you to the more than 1,000 individuals who responded to our survey, which was open from October 10-October 24. Woodland School District 50 asked staff, students, families and members of the community to share their feedback through a survey which asked about student learning, student well-being, finances and facilities, staff recruitment, community relations and district pride. Your responses will assist Woodland District 50 in making decisions about the plan. We will produce a summary of the results to share with the community.
A key element to gathering feedback is the formation of a community committee. The committee, made up of approximately 60 people, will include parents, staff, students, administrators, and community and business leaders. In addition to input from the survey and focus groups, the committee members will offer additional feedback on the survey and strategic goals as they develop the recommended five-year plan.
It is important that committee members be present for both evening sessions. The district will provide childcare for children who are toliet-trained. If you require an interpreter or special accommodations, please fill out that section of the application with your needs.
When will the committee meet?
On November 27 and 28 from, 6:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m at Woodland Intermediate School Cafeteria, located at 1115 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee.
When will I know if I'm selected?
If you are selected for the planning committee you will be notified by November 8.
