Ms. Jordan Anderson
Jordan Anderson is an Assistant Principal at the Primary School. She joined the Woodland community in 2015 after having taught 5th grade for 13 years at Prairie Hill School in Cary District 26 and Kildeer Countryside School in Kildeer District 96. Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Trinity Christian College and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Xavier University. She has an additional Master’s Degree from Concordia University in Educational Leadership and Administration.
Ms. Anderson has a strong background in curriculum design, technology and assessment writing. In addition, she values strong professional relationships with students, parents and staff members. Being an active member in a school community and watching students thrive is what is most important to her.
Ms. Anderson lives in McHenry, IL and is also the Vice-President of a local nonprofit organization that supports educational efforts in Africa. In her free time, she enjoys decorating, relaxing at the lake, cheering on the Cubs and Bears, and spending time with friends and family.
