District Financial Information

  • Woodland SD 50 educates approximately 5000 students and employs 900+ staff members.  The District is committed to continuous improvement of all components of the education organization, to long-term financial health through comprehensive multi-year planning, to being good financial stewards for our community and to transparency of information to our taxpayers. 

     

     

    Bond Rating: Woodland District 50 recently had its credit rating reaffirmed by two credit agencies. In 2016 the district refinanced its current debt to reduce its tax rate to area residents.

    The ratings from Moody's indicate high quality, and the       

    Standard & Poor's ratings indicate a strong capacity to

    meet financial obligations.

     Financial Recognition

    District 50 has maintained the highest level of "Financial

    Recognition Status" for its financial profile for six of the

    last eight school years.
