Dear Woodland School District Staff Member:
The Woodland Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for its Spring 2020 Staff Grant Program.
Since its incorporation in 2006, the primary mission of the WEF has been:
To creatively generate and distribute resources with which to enrich and enhance the opportunities of educational experiences of Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 students.
As a result of the funds raised from many individuals and businesses and other fundraisers such as the golf outing, the Foundation is able to generate thousands of dollars to support the needs of staff and students.
The purpose of the grant program is to provide the supplemental resources needed for staff to implement innovative projects that enhance the educational experience of Woodland students. Specifically, awarding Staff Grants supports the Foundation’s purpose by:
Enriching the curriculum of the District, and providing innovative academic and extra-curricular learning opportunities for the District’s children.
Providing students with opportunities they would not otherwise be privileged to experience.
Assisting in maintaining the highest standards for programs, resources, and facilities.
Any staff interested in applying for a Staff Grant should do so by using the Staff Grant Application form. Important dates to note are as follows:
- Open now
- Closes April 30, 2020
We look forward to continuing with our Staff Grant Program, and strongly encourage you to take advantage of this exciting opportunity. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at pjtermini@aol.com or feel free to call me at 847-638-1062.
Sincerely,
