General Volunteer Opportunities

The PTA is looking for volunteers to help during the school year.  Please read the following and if you can volunteer any time at all, it would be greatly appreciated. [updated July 14, 2008]

Market Day Thursday is looking for volunteers to help unload trucks and work the sale. Sales happen once a month and volunteers are needed anytime between the hours of 2:30 and 6:00 pm. You can volunteer for only one Thursday or as many as you want. The committee needs people to do reminder calls the day before each sale. Volunteers are also needed to do the mailing list. Please call Celeste Brown at 847-855-2366 if you are willing to volunteer any amount of time (even if it is one hour!!). Market Day Thursday Dates for 2008/2009: 8/1(Friday), 9/11, 10/2, 11/6, 12/4, 1/15, 2/19, 3/12, 4/16, 5/14

Market Day Saturday is also in need of volunteers. Sales are once a month and volunteers are needed anytime from 8:30 am - 12:30pm. Come with a friend and go to lunch after the sale. Volunteers are needed to do reminder calls the day before the sale. Help is also needed once a month to deliver the order forms to teachers’ mailboxes in the Intermediate and Middle School. Even if you can only do part of a shift it would be greatly appreciated.  Please take the time to volunteer.  It benefits the school and your children!
