Financial Review Committee

Fiscal Responsibility Goal:
The Board and the district are accountable to the public for fiscal responsibility. As such, a Financial Review Committee composed of staff, parents, and community members has been formed to evaluate and review all district programs and budgets for potential cost savings due to an operating fund deficit of over $3 million.

Financial Review Committee Tasks:

  • Review ALL departments and programs, all Operating Fund Budgets.
  • Question and understand budgeted programs
  • Review recommended options for budget reductions
  • Prioritize budget reduction options for the Board of Education
